i went to the allergist at the end of last week. 32 skin tests and 9 under the skin tests reveal that i'm allergic to:
i wasnt too fond of the doctor, typical harvard type (both of his colleagues have harvard degrees as well), but i am glad to know what i'm allergic to. i de-dusted my room at the beginning of the week and i've felt a little better. i also have a hepa filter on the way which should mitigate the effects of lith and dust (and for $30 cheaper than the amazon price - wooha). i am still sleeping under a feather comforter (that has seen better days) -- as soon as winter is over, its gone. he also prescribed a nasal spray, apparently the most successful of non-shot therapies offered. i have another appointment in 6 months, when sage pollen and dust mites will be at their peak.
